Self-paced e-learning for busy people
E-learning and Computer-Based Training (CBT) enable your staff to study without
disrupting their routines or shift patterns. They can learn at a time and place to suit
themselves, and go at their own pace. It is a method of training that meets many
purposes:

It is ideal for those working occasional, unusual or anti-social hours

The training is absorbing, and interactive

Built-in assessments and quizzes allow you to check your students’
understanding, before they progress

Training can be loaded onto local computers, or made available on CD (for
mobile workers). It can also be accessed online, using a Learning Management
System (LMS)

standard LMS, allowing you to monitor training activity and check on progress.
Pre and post course support
Our e-learning can be provided as a stand-alone product, or as a supplement to
other support materials. This means that, independently, delegates can prepare for
their courses, or consolidate their learning later.
Large project rollouts
E-learning is a practical way to reinforce the training of very large numbers. It can
contain product demonstrations: especially useful for training non-technical end-
users to use technical products, such as hand-held radios.
Improved training retention
Groups trained early on in a project can sometimes lose skills before go-live.
E-learning is a great way to refresh their skills, and build confidence.

Our company produces e-learning in Adobe® Flash®, using the excellent Adobe®
Captivate® program. We believe these technologies offer our customers the best

Our e-learning/CBT service
Software simulations
We visit you and look at your systems, and propose the most appropriate solution for
your budget. We discuss the training points in detail, so that we can write
storyboards and scripts for review.
Once scripts and storyboards have been approved, we visit again to capture your
system processes and procedures. If we experience challenges during the capture
process, we note these as training points, so they can be addressed in the materials.
General e-learning
An initial discussion on site will enable us to gather information about your systems
and procedures. We then prepare a detailed design brief, draft scripts and
storyboards for your approval. Once approval is received, the learning is developed.
Quizzes and simulations are added to provide entertainment and interactivity. You
may also wish to choose our LMS service, for training distribution and tracking.
Learning Management Systems
If your company doesn’t presently have a Learning Management System (LMS), we
can design and deliver one customised to your requirements, now and in the future.

Training recycling
If your company uses Microsoft Powerpoint, we can take existing, static training and
transform it into fully-interactive learning. Courses can then go online, or into other
Computer Based Training. One popular feature of the program we use is that it has a
(comparatively) short learning curve. Once the movies are developed, we can teach
your own staff how to make updates in-house - further reducing future costs.
Confidential. Secure. UK-based
All of our training is developed in-house in the UK, and is not sent away to outside
agencies. This is especially useful to clients who require a high degree of
confidentiality and security. You can monitor your training development easily and
regularly throughout.
